Sightseeing
Mbabane the capital city of Swaziland lies near the picturesque Ezulwini Valley and so makes a good introduction to the country. It has a population of about 50,000 people. The sites in the city itself can be covered in a day. Not to be missed are the modern Swazi Plaza and Swazi Mall, the two swank and sleek districts that give Mbabane its modern flavour.

The huge granite outcrop of Sibebe Mountain that provides a scenic spot for a picnic is Lobamba, close to Mbabane. 15 kms from Mbabane is the seat of government and houses the House of Parliament, the National Museum with its exhibits of Swazi art, craft and culture and the palace of the Royal family, the Ludzidzini Royal Residence.

The Mantenga Falls make for a good excursion away from the city but the approach roads are pretty treacherous.

Ezulwini Valley is the premier showpiece of Swaziland. It is often called the ‘place of heaven’ and is truly heavenly in its natural splendors. It has panoramic vistas, wildlife sanctuaries, mineral springs and the beautiful Mantenga Falls. It has plenty of infrastructure aimed at tourists like top rate hotels and resorts, an international standard 18 hole golf course, a vibrant nightlife with casinos, discos, nightclubs et al and the best places for dining in all of Swaziland.
